As a triathlete, I was doing a lot of research to find a mask that offered serious protection without compromising my ability to get maximum oxygen. The Totobobo mask was the clear winner, and it has been my trusted companion ever since. My wife and I recently moved from Shanghai to Santiago, Chile, and the mask is still proving its worth. I currently use it most often for home projects like construction and cleaning, but with my wife pregnant with our first baby, reliable protection is more critical now than ever—it’s why I brought it along to the hospital clinic for our baby’s 33-week check-up.

The Pros: Why I Keep Coming Back
The Totobobo simply works. It offers far safer filtering than other masks I’ve used in the past, and I feel noticeably better after wearing it. I have big sensitivities to toxic fumes, dust, and seasonal allergies, and the mask handles all of them exceptionally well. One of the best features is the filter’s color change, which makes it incredibly easy to tell precisely when it’s done and needs to be replaced.

Honest Feedback
While I highly recommend the mask, there are a few areas I’d love to see improved:

Filter Waste: Since I’m big on composting, I wish the filters were bio-degradable, but I understand the material is necessary for the high-level filtration.

Sweating: The mask can get quite sweaty, even when I’m just sitting still.

The Seal: Getting a perfect seal around the nose can sometimes take a lot of effort.

Overall, the Totobobo mask has been a phenomenal product, following me from the polluted streets of Shanghai—where I used to wear it while riding my scooter—to our new life in Chile. It gives me peace of mind knowing I have the best protection for my family, especially now.
In good health, Travis

Dr Sam Da Costa adaptation
From time to time we receive some impressive adaptation of our mask.
