FAQ:
1) I realize that my US PayPal account only has my US addresses. Would you be willing to ship to my address in Bangkok?
A: You will receive a payment confirmation email from Paypal after your purchase.
Please forward that email together with your suggested delivery address to us. We will send the mask to the suggested address instead of the record in Paypal.

2) Which shipping company did you use? How can I track my order?
A: For small quantity up to 100 pcs, we will send the package via registered airmail by Singapore Post Office, which is reliable and economical. The package can be tracked on their site by entering a tracking number.

Hi, you can find Totobobo mask in Shanghai: http://www.nuzi.com.cn/

8 Tom April 27, 2009 at 2:08 am

Hi, is your product certified by any professional certification body and is any of the health institutions in Singapore using your product on a wide scale? Thanks

9 info April 27, 2009 at 2:48 am

Our product is not yet certified.
However, Totobobo mask is probably the most reliable solution for most people who don’t have access to fit-test facilities.
To understand the fit-test issue, please visit this page from NIOSH

10 Kay April 27, 2009 at 2:02 pm

Is it possible to put in two filters to bring the filtration efficiency up past N95?

11 info April 27, 2009 at 2:19 pm

Hi Kay, yes, we tested by putting in 2 layers of the Totobobo filter you can bring the filtration efficiency up past 99% (N99)!

12 Tom April 28, 2009 at 1:38 am

Hi, thanks very much for your reply. I am trying to get a reference point for the product in the absence of any 3rd party certification. Can I know if your mask is used by any major health institution in Singapore and if yes, on what scale and what sort of purposes please. Many thanks

13 Mycah April 30, 2009 at 3:41 am

Does the totobobo mask protect against Swine flu? Should I use this instead of a N95 respirator to protect again Influenza A?

14 info April 30, 2009 at 8:16 am

Mycah, Totobobo mask is designed to be at a similar protection level as N95 mask. The current Totobobo filter reduce at least 94% of contaminated particles in the air for the wearer. N95 mask reduce at least 95% of contaminated particles. In both cases you need to make sure the mask seal your face completely in order for the filter to be effective.

16 Mike May 5, 2009 at 2:49 pm

Great website! However your comparison chart is not correct! I just know for the Respro, but a Sportsta cost USD42 (and not 50!). Moreover, one filter for the Sportsta costs USD 8.3 (not 20) and can be used during at least 30 hours. So by the hour, your filters cost USD 0.4 (if you change the filter every 4 hours) and the Sportsta just USD0.3.

17 info May 10, 2009 at 2:25 am

Thanks Mike, please provide the url for the claimed price. We will update them accordingly. Thanks!

24 Dickson Soo August 18, 2009 at 4:46 pm

Hi. I’m really impressed with your mask and was wonder if you have a dealer that sells this in Kuala Lumpur? Can you also kindly let me know how long can a pair of 94% and 96% filters last before it needs to be changed? 1(H1N1) is really starting to get out of control… better to prevent and wait for a cure. Awaiting your reply. Thanks.

Cheers!!!

i am living in chaing mai and the farmers are burning their crops. are these effective against smoke? i would use this mask 19 houirs a day. what do you recomened?

32 info March 31, 2010 at 9:06 pm

Rudy, Totobobo mask is perfect for your application! it is:
- light weight, only 20 g. feels like nothing
- soft, and very adaptable to your face, therefore more comfortable
- covers only the essential nose and mouth area, so hot air won’t be trapped around your face
- super elastic and adjustable strap- so you can control the tension just right for your comfort
- highly effective filters and easy “visual seal check”, really helps to ensure protection.

Hi, I am an asthmatic and will be travelling in winter, where temperatures can reach sub-zero. I have been searching for cold weather masks but most of them are based in the U.S. and don’t ship to Singapore. Is the Totobobo a cold weather mask? Thanks!

35 David Parks February 14, 2011 at 2:19 pm

Hi, is this company still in business? I have tried to call, but the phone number (Tel: (+65) 8183-1563) doesn’t go through, and I have sent two emails to: (totobobomask (at) gmail.com) neither of which were responded to. Please contact me at my email address or by calling +1 510-931-7801. I’m interested in placing an order, but need to confirm my shipping address which is in VN and paypal only allows me to enter a US address.

36 K T March 26, 2011 at 11:34 am

Likewise, I am in Vietnam and want to order. Are you guys still in business? David, did you ever hear from these people?

37 info April 2, 2011 at 4:11 pm

39 Susanh April 4, 2011 at 3:10 pm

Writing you from Santa Fe, NM, USA. Usually this time of year, I am outdoors as an avid bicyclist and gardener. However, although it is very beautiful here in Spring, this season we have unusually high winds and high amounts of juniper pollen – both creating very difficult respiratory challenges. Questions: 1) RE: shipping – If calculating air shipping times to major US west coast cities and perhaps a couple days more to Santa Fe, what do you estimate the total time in days and cost for delivery? 2) Also, what difference in shipping time do you estimate between air and FEDEX? My hope is to receive the package with masks and replacement filters for 3 of us – including for my elderly mother, as soon as possible. 4) Since our conditions here involve nasty pollens and dust, which filters do you recommend (92%, 94% or 96%)? 5) and, also which mask, the original or the newer “Universal Over the Ear” style? Looking forward to your reply to proceed with purchase. BTW, found you on bicycling website: bicyclingdesign.com – related to CINCO a new design for cmmuter bike. Thank you, Susan

40 info April 7, 2011 at 9:20 am

Order are usually shipped by registered mail. The estimated time to ship to USA from Singapore is around 8~12 working days. FedEx will reduce this to 2~4 days.

41 Charles April 7, 2011 at 9:44 am

Like Susanh, I live in Santa Fe, NM, USA, and suffer from juniper pollen allergy. I would happily buy three masks, with five filters for each one, total of fifteen filters. I give you permission to forward my email address to Susanh, so we could order together and share shipping expense.

I am also an inventor, with a patent for an oxygen delivery mask for small animals.

42 info April 23, 2011 at 12:20 am

Hi Charles, please check my mail :-)

43 Apple April 27, 2011 at 1:17 pm

Hello, I actually bought a totobobo mask in Tanjong Pagar but I would need the Matrix filters for my it which they don’t have. What do you suggest I do? I am in Manila now and would need the filters before second week of May. Hoping for your quick response. Thank you.

47 Susanh July 17, 2011 at 9:57 pm

Dear Sharon Li – Thank you for your email. (Which I just found again.) I have not yet purchased. And, now I see a note on your blog from “Charles” also from Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. Please share my email address with Charles. I would be very happy to share shipping costs with Charles. Now, those of us living in NM have been experiencing much smoke from forest fires which become huge wild fires. This would be the perfect time to be using your masks. Perhaps Charles and I (and some others) could share the costs of more rapid FEDEX shipping? Thank you, Susanh
