The current Totobobo filter reduce at least 94% of contaminated particles in the air for the wearer. N95 mask reduce at least 95% of contaminated particles. In both cases you need to make sure the mask seal your face completely in order for the filter to be effective.

Moreover, one filter for the Sportsta costs USD 8.3 (not 20) and can be used during at least 30 hours. So by the hour, your filters cost USD 0.4 (if you change the filter every 4 hours) and the Sportsta just USD0.3.
